Travelled back from Leeds today, though spent an hour with Johan’s parents before getting the train. The train was okay, though I found it difficult to sit up because of overdoing it. When we got home I spent most of the day in bed, watching Starcraft 2 on the telly. Johan stole my chair to watch it 😛
When I was feeling a bit better I went into Second Life, and worked on getting my avatar out of 2007 and into 2011. She looks very different now, but still feels like me 🙂
Today was Johan’s dad’s 70th birthday. We went to a pub to celebrate. Spent a few hours talking, playing with Harvey and drinking (though I was on coke because of painkillers). Sam went to get a knife to cut the cake, and it was massive 😛
I enjoyed it, though I was out about 3 hours too long. Went back to the hotel to relax before sleeping.
Travelled to Leeds today. It wasn’t too bad, apart from there being a police officer on the train from Durham to York, so I spent the entire time panicking. Found the hotel okay, where we discovered that somehow I’d booked a double room, rather than a disabled one. Managed to get it swapped though.
I was on my laptop using my phone, when I was looking for places to eat near where we were. Google knew where we were 😛 Decided to go to McDonalds after going to Sainsburys for fruit and Mountain Dew.
Spent the evening watching telly in the hotel room, before going to sleep.
Was just about awake when favourite carer arrived this morning, and after she’d done stuff in the kitchen was awake enough to get up and dressed.
Spent most of the day in bed again, though I was up for bits playing World of Warcraft. Also have been catching up with blogs- the photo is of a WoW Insider post that mentions my realm, EU-Quel’Thalas. Arkenstone is a troll, yes, but he’s funny and I quite like him.
Tried to watch The Ugly Truth, but it wasn’t funny so turned it off after about 20 minutes.
It’s way too hot, but going to Leeds tomorrow. A bit anxious as there’s a bit missing from the head rest of my wheelchair so I’ll have to try and keep it up by myself while travelling. It’s been really floppy so this is going to be interesting.
Woke up late again, having been asleep through the carer and given antibiotics in my sleep 😛
Was reading this book for a bit. Had a bad day of panicking so wasn’t in a good mood, but did get Elisaveta to level 73. Had an earlyish night for me as was exhausted.
