Project 365: Day 43: 30th July 2011 – Johan in Bed

Johan in Bed

Have been exhausted all day, payback from Thursday I think. Slept through the carer this morning, Johan woke me up at 11am to take my antibiotics, then I fell asleep again.

When I woke up it was hard to get out of bed. Managed it after a bit, and did my dailies and finished the Molten Front quests. Had a bath, and Johan took over my bed to watch telly.

Favourite carer came this evening when we weren’t expecting her 😛 She plaited my hair then she did some housework with the other carer.

Now watching Torchwood. Not as good as normal Torchwood, but I’m enjoying the storyline.

Project 365: Day 42: 29th July 2011 – Still Got Legs

Still Got Legs

I does, even if they don’t work properly 😛

As I forgot to take my meds last night, I woke up at 9.30am this morning, feeling pretty rotten. Favourite carer came, tidied the living room (including some of Johan’s corner :P) and we had a chat as I wasn’t feeling up to getting up at the time.

Went on my computer for a bit but had to go back to bed after a while. The good news is that the anti-nausea tablets seem to work, though it did mean I got extremely hungry when they kicked in (though to be fair, I’d only had snacks for 24 hours by that point).

I had two meals today 🙂 Noodles for lunch, and pizza with veg for tea. Also got Elisaveta to level 72 in the bouts I was on the computer.

Favourite carer came at about 6pm supposedly to help me with my bath, but I wasn’t sure I’d be able to get back out again so I didn’t have it. Instead she finished off the living room, cleaned all of the kitchen and bathroom, and we had a long chat about things in general.

Johan’s not having a good night tonight. It makes me sad 🙁

Project 365: Day 41: 28th July 2011 – Hot Chocolate

Hot Chocolate

Appointment at the doctors in the morning. He gave me tablets for nausea. He wanted to examine my abdomen but I panicked from the noise of the step.

Went into Newcastle afterwards, and had lunch at a café. The hot chocolate was nice, though I want too keen on the meatball sandwich.

I had hospital appointment in the afternoon. It went okay, right up to the point where they took blood. That in itself wasn’t a problem (I don’t like it, but I can tolerate it) but they broke all three rules in how to deal with Danni when she’s having a panic attack, so it was torture.

Went home via Blaydon library, and got Elisaveta to level 70 before falling asleep without taking my night-time meds. Whoops.

Project 365: Day 40: 27th July 2011 – Purple Suede Shoes

Purple Suede Shoes

Since I can’t walk, I seem to be spending a lot of time looking at and buying new shoes 😛 It does mean I’ll be able to get rid of all the ones that are falling apart, though 😛

Woke up about 2.30pm today, feeling really rotten. Took antibiotics and got up, but had to go back to bed after doing my dailies because I felt so dizzy and ill. Panicked again when the carer came at bath time, which didn’t help at all.

Had a bath a bit later, but realised I wasn’t strong enough to get out. This meant that Johan had to drag me out, which he found exceptionally difficult. Lay on the floor in the bathroom for a bit before I was strong enough to get in my wheelchair and go back to bed. Being stuck in the bath has now made me scared of having one again, as it was very painful trying to get out. Need to speak to social worker to find out what’s happening to my OT assessment.

Project 365: Day 39: 26th July 2011 – Bus Pass

Bus Pass

Woke up after the carer had been, and got ready to go out as I had a dentist appointment. It went okay- the dentist put a temporary covering over the hole in my tooth that’s been bothering me, and gave me a prescription for antibiotics, and promised to chase up the appointment to get it removed.

Went to the library on the way back, then put the prescription in at the chemist. When Johan went to pick it up, we realised I wouldn’t be able to swallow the tablets (I’m having enough problems keeping my normal ones down) and they couldn’t be crushed, which is what the dentist had said to do when I mentioned I was struggling to take tablets. Johan spoke to the chemist, then went back to the dentist for a prescription for the liquid form of the antibiotics. It doesn’t taste very nice, but at least I can get it down.

Today’s post included my disabled bus pass 🙂 I have put it in the pretty travel pass holder I’d bought last week, as the one it came in is green and not very nice.

Panicked when the evening carers came again, and Johan sent them away. Read a couple of the books I borrowed and went to sleep as I was knackered.
