Project 365: Day 30: 17th July 2011 – Tidy Desk

IMG_20110717_232551

Woke up just as favourite carer was arriving this morning. She went and did stuff in the kitchen, then when she came back I was alive enough to get up and dressed and stuff. Did my dailies in World of Warcraft, then messed around for a bit.

Also this morning I tidied my desk, and started tidying the rest of the living room. Hopefully tomorrow it will be done enough to take photos of πŸ˜›

Favourite carer came back at 6pm to help me with my bath. Had a nice long soak, then got out, lay on the bed for a bit then got ready for bed.

This evening I had a couple of dragons to kill, so logged back into World of Warcraft to work on Nefarian. Got a bit upset because I was struggling madly to try and heal the Onyxia/adds tank, but once I swapped to the Nefarian tank it was a lot easier for me. After about 3 hours, we got him down πŸ˜› I also got the achievement Defender of a Shattered World, so I have yet another title that doesn’t fit through doorways πŸ˜›

I also ran another Troll dungeon, so I’m valor point capped for the week πŸ™‚

Project 365: Day 29: 16th July 2011 – Google Reader

Google Reader

I have a lot of blogs and things to catch up with on Google Reader…

The payback from seeing Harry Potter is in full force. Been in a lot of pain and especially weak and floppy today. Was awake for favourite carer coming this morning, but was way too tired to get up. After a couple of hours I got up and did dailies and things, but I had to go back to bed afterwards. Napped for 6 hours this afternoon, then the carers came and brushed my teeth and things this evening, though one of them was knocking on the door so loud that I was extremely panicky.

Tried reading things on laptop in bed again, though not much is going in. Felt okay to sit up so levelled Elisaveta a bit.

Good news is Still Got Legs by Chameleon Circuit is now on Spotify, and I got my digital download link πŸ™‚ Nightmares is my favourite song I think, though I love the entire album. I recommend it to any Doctor Who lovers. If you don’t have Spotify, you can listen for free athttp://chameleoncircuit.bandcamp.com/album/still-got-legs

Project 365: Day 28: 15th July 2011 – Colin

Colin

A wild Colin appears!

Today I’ve been feeling pretty rotten, though more pain than tiredness. Favourite carer came this morning but I was asleep, then came at 6pm to give me my bath. I like it when it’s her as she doesn’t rush me, so I was able to have a decent soak which helped with the pain a bit. She also let me just rest on the bed for a bit before getting clean pyjamas on and hair brushed.

Played World of Warcraft most of the day, first dailies and trolls, then levelling Elisaveta, then a Firelands trash run. The pain got too much by the end of it though, and I the run was finished πŸ™

Also, Colin finally came and visited us πŸ™‚ We’d not seen him for a while, as he’s sorting out moving in with his girlfriend and stuff. Apparently they’re moving a mile down the road, so he’ll have even less reason not to visit πŸ˜› It may even be close enough for me to get there (his home now is two buses and half an hour away, despite only being about 4 miles).

In bed now. Tried to watch Torchwood but concentration not there. Think I’ll just mess around and get an early night (for me).

Project 365: Day 27: 14th July 2011 – Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Cinema day! In the morning/early afternoon played on World of Warcraft and watched Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Got ready in the afternoon (it takes carers about 10-15 minutes to get me ready… me doing it by myself takes 3 hours…) then left about 7.30pm to get the bus to the MetroCentre. Got there, went to the cinema to pick up tickets and then went for a McDonalds for tea.

Part 1 started at 9pm, and was good πŸ™‚ It was nice not having to concentrate too much because I’d seen it before, but it did refresh my memory a lot for things. I got upset when Dobby died πŸ™

After Part 1 finished, we went to sort things out, and bumped into Kate Stanforth πŸ˜€ We chatted for a bit, and she’s even more awesome in real life than she is online πŸ˜€ She was also really easy to talk to, which made it the best part of the night πŸ™‚

We went upstairs to the Gallery, munched on chocolates while trying to sort out a taxi (and getting nowhere) then went in to see Part 2. It was awesome, though the makeup in a certain part was comical rather than convincing πŸ˜‰ I did manage to spill my drink and popcorn everywhere, but that’s dyspraxia and M.E. for you πŸ˜›

When it finished Johan continued the search for a taxi, and we ended up finding one. The taxi driver was really good, and gave us his cab number, name and the phone number for his cab in case we ever get stuck for a taxi again πŸ™‚ When I got in I went online for a little bit, then went to bed.

Project 365: Day 26: 13th July 2011 – Harry Potter

Goblet of Fire

Slept okay, right up to the point that Johan woke me up at 11.30am to tell me the Asda order was wrong again. I didn’t appreciate being woken up.

Watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix today, then rested. Had a bath, which was a bad idea at the time as I was exhausted, and I struggled to get back out. Ended up being unable to move for a bit, though my body started behaving in about half an hour.

Raid night tonight, so we went in to do Blackwing Descent. Managed all the bosses except Nefarian, who we’re going to kill on Sunday. My healing is getting better, though that may have something to do with having an item level of 359 πŸ˜›

Really tired now, and worried about tomorrow as we’re going to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (both parts) at the cinema. Still have Half Blood Prince to watch as well. Hopefully it will be okay, and the slip up with having a bath when not really well enough won’t stop me going. Earlyish night, and I’ve told Johan not to wake me up until 4pm πŸ˜›
